2002 | BMW Z8

We are delighted to be able to offer you this beautiful roadster - the legendary BMW Z8.

The BMW Z8 simply has it all. A great drive, the 4.9-liter V8 (S62) from the M5 (E39S) with 400 hp, as well as a manual 6-speed gearbox. A noble design, designed by Henrik Fisker, which is reminiscent of the wonderful BMW 507 and it is also rare enough, only 5703 were ever built.

BMW spared no technical effort to make the Z8 a truly exceptional vehicle. The platform is a self-supporting aluminum frame (spaceframe), the outer skin is made of aluminum and was bolted on. The side skirts and bumpers were made of polyurethane. Particularly pretty: the steering wheel with its thin metal rods, designed by David Carp and reminiscent of the 1950s, and the round instruments in the center of the cockpit - an absolute dream. The roof was opened and closed exclusively by hand and a hardtop was fitted as standard.

The vehicle offered here was registered in July 2002 and is in perfect collector's condition, as certified by a Classic Data certificate from 2015. It is a US model that found its way back to Germany and has been in a collection ever since. Included are beautiful Alpina alloy wheels, the original Z8 rims (which belong to the vehicle) including tires, a hardtop with stand, an original vehicle cover and the wind deflector. With a clock, one would speak of a “full set”.

The service was carried out in accordance with the regulations in 2024 and the technical and visual condition are perfect.

The vehicle is being sold on behalf of a customer and was privately registered, i.e. VAT cannot be shown.
