Description

This Triumph TR 3A was sold new to the USA. After being found in an American barn the super original TR 3A was shipped to the Netherlands to be extensively restored and overhauled. The bodywork and the chassis were perfectly and “body off” restored. The original green colour was exchanged in favour of red. Everything was overhauled and or renewed, and the car was registered for the road in June 1997. A complete photo report of the restoration is present. Since completion of the restoration the car was well serviced and properly garaged. The car is with the last owner since June 2021.

This fine Triumph TR 3A is in a very good and wonderful condition! The rugged 1991 cc four-cylinder engine produces a healthy 100 bhp and (the then novelty) disc brakes on the front wheels supply ample stopping power. This gorgeous Triumph TR 3A shows all the wonderful original details and is fitted with silver painted wire wheels, and two wing mounted rear view mirrors. The car features a black vinyl hood cover, a black vinyl tonneau cover, a black vinyl soft-top, and black side screen frames. The car is fitted with a four-speed gearbox, if you wish overdrive can be fitted at additional costs. This Triumph TR 3A offers a superb classic open top driving experience, and it will complete your vintage motoring passion!
