The first-generation Boxster (the 986) was introduced in late 1996, in 2000, the new Boxster S variant was developed with a larger 3.2 litre engine and in 2003, styling and engine output was upgraded on both variants. With prices rising, the later 3.2 litre S models with manual gearboxes are becoming increasingly sought after.

Owned for over 10 years, this extremely well cared-for example comes from the stable of a dyed-in-the-wool Porsche enthusiast sitting amongst, as it does, a number of other similar marque models. It has been sensibly upgraded with Porsche M030 sports suspension, a Cargraphic stainless steel exhaust system and a Parr Powerkit 4 adding approximately 35bhp to the already spirited output. It should be noted that it has had the IMS bearing attended to therefore giving the new owner peace of mind. This combined with four new Michelin Pilot Sports fitted recently and a major service completed approximately 1,000 miles ago with Parr all to the tune of £4,899 are all to the car's credit. Also enclosed is a new Alpine CD/stereo (as well as the original Porsche unit), the correct Porsche owner's pack complete with fully stamped up service booklet and the original Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche GB and Tracker wallet.
