Description

This **1969 Road Runner **was finally given a new lease of life. Arriving at our workshop, it was in a truly desolate condition. But with an extensive restoration, this muscle car stands gracefully in new splendor again. Only a few finishing touches are needed to let this Road Runner loose on the road.
It is painted in the rare and for this car original color "Rallye Green". This color was only available from mid 1969 and is one of the sought after Hi Impact Colors!

The car can of course be restored ready by us on request,
but we can also help you with the assembly.

Ex factory it had among other things the following equipment. All parts of the car are still present and belong of course:

  • reflective longitudinal stickers on the side panel
  • black seat (seat cover defective)
  • A727 3 speed automatic transmission with steering wheel gearshift
  • air grabber hood (restored)
  • 383cui V8 big block engine with casting date 1969
  • HP cast iron manifold
  • factory clean engine bay look as ordered without air conditioning
  • optional 3 speed wiper motor
  • Power steering
  • 11″ manual drum brakes
  • 15″ Police rims with center caps (other rims are selectable).
  • 215-75-15 front / 255-60-15 rear
  • Black matte hood paint, which is how it was shipped from the factory
  • optional turn signals on the fenders
  • Original paint color Ralley Green, this color belongs to the popular Hi Impact colors. Whereby this green was a so called Mid Year Introduktion. That means it was only available in the last months of the 1969 series. In Germany we know of no other car with this original color.
  • 8 3/4 rear axle with lock

All the hard work is done

All the bodywork has been completed. A large part of the add-on parts and also the drive unit is already mounted. Here is a list of the extensive activities that our workshop guys have implemented:

  • hundreds of pictures of the restoration & sheet metal work are available
  • completely overhauled heater box
  • fully restored pedals
  • fully restored dashboard
  • the steel dash support has been completely stripped of paint and painted in the correct anti-glare black matte finish

  • air grabber under hood completely restored & new gasket

The only thing missing now is the interior. Interior trim and seats. The car can of course be finished by us on request, but we can also help you with the assembly.

We are always working on the car and the price will increase according to the investments we make.

If in doubt, please ask for the current price.
