The Mercedes W140 is a special car. It was described as the best car in the world when it was presented and was unfortunately misunderstood for a long time, especially in Germany. Its size and appearance were massive, its appearance self-confident. Something like that easily produces envy. This was not a problem overseas, where it was respected and admired. The chassis of the 140 series was used for the upcoming Maybach series after it was discontinued. The driving experience in a W140 is also unique and cannot be compared to any other Mercedes......... We bought this Mercedes S 500 in Spain. It is accident-free and rust-free with a mileage of 147,700 km. It is a vehicle from model year 1997, the last series, with all model updates. It already has the more modern 5-speed automatic transmission, modernized automatic climate control, improved wiring harnesses and much more. It meets the EURO 2 emissions standard and can be registered with a historic license plate in 2 years. The Azurite Blue Metallic paintwork is a special paintwork and, in combination with the light grey leather, suits the car excellently. The very last S-Classes were the most reliable and are now also the most sought-after. Unfortunately, many have been exported or used up, so really good examples are now very rare. We have one like this here, it is second-hand. This Mercedes S 500 has no damage or complaints whatsoever, the car has recently been extensively serviced, it will receive a major service from us, all wearing parts have been replaced (there are quite a few of these on the W140), then it was polished to a high shine by our reconditioner and given a Swissoyl seal. A fresh TÜV with a full report rounds off the package, so it can be registered immediately. If you want to call the best-made Mercedes your own, then there is probably no alternative to the W140. It is milled from solid metal, it is the last Mercedes from an era where no expense was spared on weight and quality, Mercedes built the best car in the world at the time.
