A simply unrepeatable W126 420SE with two owners and just 41k miles from new.

Finished in Smoke Silver metallic with rare and gorgeous Date leather interior accented with Zebrano wood. The specification includes electric windows, electric sunroof, leather trim, cruise control and illuminated vanity mirrors.

Purchased new from London Road Garage of Romford on August 1st 1986 by a Mr Barker. The car was first registered to his business then transferred to him personally in 1988. It remained in his ownership until his death, when we acquired the car, recommissioned it and supplied it to its second owner.

Having been garaged from new and sparingly used, the condition of this car must be seen to be believed. The body is entirely corrosion free, the paintwork and anodised brightwork is exceptional. The interior has not been subject to UV damage and remains as bright and supple as the day it was new. The Date leather is glorious and for some reason rarely seen in the UK.

Originally equipped with steel wheels and wheel trims, the last owner upgraded to the optional 15-hole alloy wheels, freshly refurbished and shod with new Michelin tyres. The original steel wheels with Michelin tyres and unmarked wheel trims are available too so the buyer can choose which they prefer.

Comes with all its original books and spare keys. Even the original radio is still fitted to the car.

Occasionally you come across cars that are outstanding in their condition and originality. Rarely are those W126s since these executive saloons were bought to drive and very few were cossetted, garage queens. This, however, is the exception – it is a collector’s dream.
