Description

We are delighted to offer this exceptional, very original, low mileage Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione II onto the market. With just 43,500 miles, this is a fantastic find and a car that has come to us from an owner reducing his car collection. Having been built in December of 1993 in Italy, this Lancia was first registered in Japan on the 1st of April 1994 where it remained for 25 years enjoying a sheltered life on salt-free roads. It was first registered in the UK on the 1st of January 2019 where it was dressed in its Martini Racing decals paying homage to the models impeccable racing heritage. The Lord Blue paintwork has a great finish and presents exceptionally well along with the Beige Alcantara interior that still has some of the protective film covering certain areas from when it left the factory.

Whilst in Japan, L857 DBB had been meticulously maintained with a no-expense spared approach taken. It is rare we see Ex Japan cars with such impressive history, the file holds overseas inspection reports for the services carried out at 23900, 32929, 38323, 46561, 53327, 56938, 59765, 61325, 63358, 65515, 65632 km. Upon landing in the UK, the car has had two owners and been rarely used covering less than 4,000km in the 7 years since it arrived. Rally car and Lancia Specialists Rally Replay of Chichester serviced the car at 69,664km in September of 2022 when they also replaced the cambelt and tensioners, sump pan gasket, and MAP sensor.

With groundbreaking success in the rally world championships from the 1960's right through to the early 90's, Lancia's homologations of their rally heroes were instantly popular with car enthusiasts around the world. Multiple changes were made throughout the iterations of the formidable Lancia Delta as the WRC team were keeping on the front foot. The introduction of the Integrale 16v saw a large power increase with its newly designed cylinder head taking the power up to 200hp. The Integrale Evolution saw major improvements in the handling with its revised suspension geometry, and an extra 10hp with a new ECU. The best of all, the Evolution II, was the most refined Lancia Delta. Due to their retirement from the WRC the Evo II was the only one solely produced for road use, therefore it carried all the technical developments from the previous models but benefitted from the primary purpose of the car being for public roads rather than going over 120mph on a gravel track in Europe.

Powering this Lancia Delta is the trusted and favoured 16V in-line 4-cylinder 1995cc Turbo engine boasting 210bhp which propels the car to 60mph in a mere 5.5 seconds and topping out at 137mph. The 4wd system helps the Integrale put its impressive power down almost instantly and coupled with the sophisticated suspension set up, the handling is remarkable.

As these cars are becoming increasingly popular and collectable, this immaculate, original, and low mileage example represents a fantastic opportunity to add a lovely Lancia to any collection.
