As per Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust, this example was built 30th November 1964 and first registered the following month. Distabuted by Henleys of London, making it one of the first cars to roll off the factory line - 25th right hand drive car. Original supplying dealer was R P Powell Motors, Forest Gate, London E7 and the car was issued with the registration 404 EAN which is still applied 60 years later.

Fast forward to 2024, 404 EAN stands proudly in it original factory issued colour combination of Opalescent Silver Blue with Dark Blue leather - matching Blue carpets, Mohair soft top and hood bag. Chrome wire wheels fitted to Pirelli Cinturato tyres (the best) gleaming two ear spinners. Under care of the car most resent of owners it has benefitted with no expense spared maintenance.

This example has undergone an exhaustive nut-and-bolt restoration, a labor of love that took six years to complete and was finalized in 1996. Since then, it has been driven sparingly, covering just 6,000 miles in the years following its restoration. The quality of the work is evident in every detail, from the flawless paintwork to the immaculate engine bay. The car still presents superbly, retaining all the charm and allure that makes the Series 1 E-Type Roadster so revered among collectors.
