1962 Jaguar E type Series 1 3.8 litre Fixed Head Coupe RHD

A stunning car finished in dark Indigo Blue with a grey leather interior. The car has had a massive nut & bolt restoration along with a few sensible modern upgrades including a fully rebuilt & upgraded engine to make it very fast yet every day driveable. It is a fully matching numbers car with excellent provenance. It was supplied new by Henleys Motor group & also passed though the hands of Coombes of Guildford.
Previously for sale with noted Ferrari specialsits DK engineering; they also perfomed a major & expensive service whilst the car was with them. It is just coming out of years storage & is having an additional recommissioning service done by ourselves.
The car is fully restored & it superb order wanting for nothing. It sits on knock off painted wire wheels shod with nearly new tyres. All brightwork is excellent as is the grey hide interior. Indicated mileage from new is 82,911 believed correct. An unbroken MOT chain for the past decade shows little but regular use.
Highly collectable, correct & ready for immediate use or display. Modern upgrades include:

All of the above go to make a supremely drivable road car with considerably more perfomance & driveability then when it first left Browns Lane in 1962. You have to drive this car to appreciate how good it is.
This car was pusrchased form us 2 years ago for £145,000 so at todays price represnts a significant saving.
