A matching numbers Maroon C3!
The C3 Corvette Sting Ray production ran from 1968 through 1982. They featured a pointed front bumper, an aggressively-straked roofline and a flat rear bumper. Because of these features they would be nicked as: “The Shark.” Something is a bit fishy when talking about Sting Rays and Sharks ;-)
Well not so with this marvelous Marlboro maroon Corvette C3 Coupe. This piece of art is a matching numbers car that only used to have one owner. As with all these Corvettes, this one was build at the St. Louis plant in 1970. Note that there was a relatively low production this year caused caused by a labor dispute that started in May of 1969. This dispute stretched over 4 months and caused the 1970 run to be cut short.
This Chevrolet Corvette Coupe comes with foglights, double exhaust and black interior with a radio.
It is equipped with a 454 big block engine and a 4 speed manual transmission. It also has power brakes and disc brakes to provide you enough comfort to enjoy cruising. Get stung by this marvelous machine that still is in very good condition.
