1962 Bentley S2 Continental Flying Spur by H.J. Mulliner

Registration Number: 813FS
A low mile example that has been stored & very sparingly driven for around 20 years. This is a lovely original example with its first interior leather in wonderful order in St James red. To the exterior is mid metallic blue paintwork again in nice order. Woodwork is likewise as it left the factory with some age releated crazing to the dash board lacquer & frankly is all the better for it. Indicated mileage is 50,711 which given the long lay-up & lack of wear to the pedals & drivers seat gives creedence to the belief that this is the original mileage from new although we are unable to warrant this.
On the road the car drives beautifully. Gear changes are smooth & seamless. The ride soft & undulating. The engine is silent & pulls strongly in all gears. Electric widows are fitted all round. It tool kit is found stowed in its original box under the boot carpet. We are awaining arrival of its paperwork to photograph & add to our image gallery. Oil pressure is very strong & the car runs cool.
The car is currently undergoing a full recommissioning service to include new brake cylinders & replacement of the servo lining. It will thus be in perfect order & ready for extended continental motoring. Having driven several of these across europe I can fully understand why they go by the moniker "Continental". It is a nice original car that has not been messed around & has a strong go anywhere feel to it.
