    Description:

The 4 ½ litre contributed significantly to the brand's sporting reputation thanks to numerous victories at Le Mans, Brooklands etc. For many Bentley enthusiasts, the 4 ½ litre embodies the best of all W. O. Bentley creations.

According to the available ‘Built Sheet’, this 4 ½ Bentley was delivered to Le Mans driver Kenneth Peacock in England in 1928 as a 4-door Weymann saloon by Gurney Nutting. The car subsequently changed hands several times within England. The vehicle was rediscovered in 1980.

Stanley Mann and H&H Coachbuilders restored the car in the style of the Le Mans Bentley with a new Tourer body. The entire history of the car is documented by the Built Sheet and numerous other original documents and photos as well as a detailed Clare Hay Report. Over the years, the vehicle was further perfected by its previous owner.

A few years ago, the car came to Germany. Last year, the vehicle was entered in LeMans Classic and once again impressed with its high reliability and outstanding driving performance.

    Engine: 4-cylinder-inline engine, 4.298 cm3 (factory data)
