Description
For sale here is a very well-maintained Austin Healey that has been owned by the family for many years.
The car was imported from the USA around 20 years ago and received its H approval in 2009.
In 2011, the current owner acquired the vehicle and had it overhauled at one of the top addresses in Germany at the time for Austin Healey Restorations (Hans Schnock in Merzenich).
The vehicle was extensively partially restored with a lot of expertise and specialist knowledge (receipts are available)
In addition to the sheet metal work and the renewal of the fabric top (with powder-coated rods), the following components were revised:
Transmission, clutch, overdrive, cooling, exhaust, brakes, carburetor, chassis, interior and much more.
Until recently, the vehicle was carefully maintained and regularly driven.
The car was a father-son project in the owner's family for years.
But here too, circumstances change over time and the vehicle is now being sold due to the family moving.
We are pleased that we have been commissioned to sell the vehicle as an agency and promise the future buyer open and transparent advice and purchase processing.
The vehicle has a total of 2 owners in Germany. The number of previous owners before import is unknown. The km reading given corresponds to the speedometer reading in miles. The actual mileage of the vehicle is unknown. In the distant past (long before it was imported to Germany) the vehicle received a replacement engine with 86kW/117PS. This is an engine from the previous model, the Austin Healey 100.
