Description

We are very pleased to offer onto the market this ultra low mileage Aston Martin Zagato. This car, number 053 of 099 ever built has covered less than 12,000 miles from new and comes with an impressive service history. This stunning original example had its pre-delivery inspection on the 14th January 2004 at 69 miles by Stratstone of Wilmslow and they carried out its first two services at 112 and 1848 miles. The Zagato was then looked after for a number of years by Aston Martin specialists Derby Motor Services who carried out servicing at 5912, 8135 and 9187 miles. Since then Nicholas Mee & Co have serviced the Aston Martin at 9456, 10620, 11154, 11288 and 11380 miles.

Finished in the iconic Aston Martin Racing Green, this stunning car has been with its recent owner for eight years and presents in outstanding condition. With exceptional bodywork designed in collaboration between Andrea Zagato at the Italian design house and Chief Aston Martin designer Henrik Fisker, the DB7 Zagato is a true Anglo-Italian thoroughbred and these low production cars are now emerging as an incredibly desirable and sought after collectors piece. Introduced at Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, California in 2002 and later on display the Paris Motor Show, the car was only offered for the model year 2003 and now over 20 years on since launch onto the market, this is now an incredibly well established car amongst Aston Martin collectors and enthusiasts worldwide.

Not only is the head turning styling with Zagato's trademarked ‘double bubble' roof immensely impressive, this is also an incredibly quick car, 60KG lighter than a standard DB7 GT and based on a shortened DB7 platform. Powered by a 435BHP V12 engine and short throw six speed gearbox, the lighter weight Zagato was estimated to be capable of 190mph and able to reach 60mph in under five seconds. On the road the car meets expectations, its truly incredible offering subline performance and with such low mileage, the engine and gearbox have barely run in. This is a true collectors piece, a British icon and with only 99 ever sold, this will always be a special car within Aston Martin's history. Offered on sale freshly serviced, with a full MOT and original handbook/service book and bespoke DB7 Zagato book, this beautiful car will make a very special addition to any worldwide collection.
