The Laverda has been in a Dutch collection for many years. Nothing is known about its history. It was recently brought back to life.

All fluids were replaced, including shock absorber oil. New chain, clutch, carburettor dismantled, cleaned and adjusted, new tyres, tank flushed, defective electrics replaced, ignition system measured and adjusted, plugs replaced, handlebar end indicators fitted, new full TÜV approval for transfer to Germany in May 2023 with registration of all changes relevant to the inspection.

As part of an earlier restoration, the frame was powder-coated and all chrome parts polished. The high-quality equipment with Tomasselli handlebars and polished Borani spoke rims was standard at Laverda. The in-house drum brakes (the SF stands for Super Freni = Super Brake!) with ventilation slots are also a work of art and a visual treat!

Riding this 53-year-old classic after huge fun and the machine is surrounded by admirers wherever it appears.
