1964 | Steyr-Puch 700 C

Austria has a long tradition in automotive engineering. One company is Steyr Puch AG, which was able to establish an excellent reputation in civilian vehicle construction thanks to the Steyr Puch 500 and its derivatives, which were based on the Fiat 500. Exactly 8566 examples of the Combi version, the 700C, were produced between 1960 and 1968, 1033 of them in 1964. The 700C was particularly popular with the post office, the police and the traffic police. As it was used as a work tool and was not spared, only a few hundred units are likely to still exist.

This example was delivered to the Salzburg branch of Herta Apotheker AG in 1964 and, after a diversion via Lower Austria, is now in fifth ownership in Vorarlberg. When it was acquired in 2016, the last owner decided to have the 700C completely restored by Steyr Puch specialist Joe Müller. The vehicle was completely dismantled, the bodywork rebuilt, the engine optimised in the style of the house and the interior covered in leather. Many photos bear witness to this.

The vehicle has §57a/Pickerl until 06/25 and is ready for immediate use.
