History:

The top-of-the-range 911S 2.4 model presented in autumn 1971, was the first Porsche with a front spoiler. At the rear of the car was a 2.4-litre six-cylinder boxer engine with an output of 190 hp, which could be ordered with a manual five-speed gearbox. Motorised in this way, the Porsche 911S 2.4 achieved fabulous performance by the standards of the time. According to the factory, the top speed was over 231 km/h, and the Porsche 911 S 2.4 accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds.

In 1972, just 1,740 cars were built in this specification.

This car was fully restored to delivery specifications. It was based on a vehicle re-imported from the USA with an untouched original body. In the course of the restoration, the vehicle was dismantled down to bare body shell and was fully restored. The engine/transmission was completely overhauled by a renowned specialist. In the course of this, the engine received a performance upgrade to approx 230 HP according to Dyno sheet.
