The Porsche 911 (pronounced nine-eleven) is the most famous sports car from the German car manufacturer Porsche. It was launched in 1964. Since then, several generations have been launched with their own factory code, since 2019 it has been the Porsche 992, but these are all considered part of the 911 series. The appearance of the 911 was designed under the leadership of Erwin Komenda by Ferdinand "Butzi" Porsche, grandson of Ferdinand Porsche, the founder of the Porsche brand. The well-known shape has remained largely the same over the past sixty years.

On September 12, 1963, Porsche showed the 901 model to the public for the first time at the Frankfurt Motor Show. However, the number had to be changed because Peugeot claimed the trademark rights to all car model numbers consisting of three digits with a zero in the middle. The choice was then made for the 911. The Porsche 911 came onto the market in 1964 with a 2.0 liter air-cooled six-cylinder engine that was placed in the rear and delivered 130 hp. With this, the 911 could accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.9 seconds. In 1965, the 912 also came onto the market. This cheaper version, which is not actually considered part of the 911 series, was externally the same but with a lighter engine and more soberly equipped.

This 911 presented here was originally delivered in California, USA, on October 11, 1967. It was a T model but has been completely restored, whereby the following has been changed or improved.
The entire body has been checked and powder coated, primed and sprayed in the color Mandarin. A full roll cage has been installed, RS seats with 4-point belts have been installed, RS door panels and carpeting have been installed. Furthermore, a new master cylinder has been installed and the brake calipers have been overhauled.
The engine has been completely overhauled, a 3.2 oil pump with S-pistons and the crankshaft has been balanced. The carburetors have also been overhauled, as well as the starter motor and dynamo. The list is much longer, but we have it in our office.

In 2016, the car was sold to the current owner by Porsche Eindhoven and the 911 went through the Youngtimer & Classic Appoverd. The entire list was checked and reviewed. Since then, the Porsche has driven approximately 9,500 km and the condition of the car is still completely perfect!

There is also a valuation report and an original Porsche Geburtsurkunde that you can view.

All in all, a fantastic, honest Porsche that can pass all quality tests.
