To mark the 70th anniversary of LAND ROVER, the WORKS V8 project was developed in 2017. Based on the last built and registered LAND ROVER DEFENDER, CLASSIC WORKS UK has carefully dismantled each of the 150 limited edition vehicles worldwide and implanted a 5.0 litre V8 petrol engine with 403 hp from the current RANGE ROVER in combination with the 8-speed automatic transmission from ZF.

The brakes, the suspension and the 18-inch LM wheels in Saw Tooth design are adapted to the performance.

The equipment includes air conditioning, ABS with ETC & DSC (rare option on the last Defender Classic), central locking, electric windows,

heated front seats, aluminium door handles.

The body was painted in one of 5 selectable colours, here Indus Silver, with a black contrasting roof and the interior was transformed into a very high-quality leather landscape in the colour combination Ebony. The Recaro sports seats and the Jaguar Land Rover Classic audio system with Bluetooth and navigation were also installed.

The result is an automotive masterpiece.

The limited number of 150 vehicles sold out within a very short time after the announcement.

Each of the left-hand drive WORKS V8s sold for the European continent passed through our hands as a subsidiary of JLR UK and was re-inspected, test driven and, with the help of the TÜV, fitted with new vehicle documents following a full inspection.

The vehicle on display here was registered to the original buyer in Portugal. In addition, the number of WORKS V8s built on the 90 wheelbase is rare.
