In Autumn of 1989 Lancia had produced the required 5000 units of Delta Integrale 16v for FIA rally group N and A homologation. Immediately after that the production of the next stage began, otherwise similar but equipped with the new "Evoluzione" engine featuring a brand new block and timing gear, this car is of that later version.
