Take some time to really go over this 1965 Mustang GT tribute. You'll see a car that went through a meticulous two-year restoration to turn an iconic classic into a fire-breathing 500+ hp muscle machine with all the right upgrades for comfort and control. That's why this is the best '65 coupe you might ever see. Raven Black is one of the coolest ways to represent this American icon. This dark mirror shine on the coupe body is the most intimating way to distinguish your Mustang from the more friendly pony cars out there. Plus, this one has all the right GT equipment, including the fog lights in the grille, the badges on the fender, and the bright trumpet-style exhaust out back. Of course, there's no missing aggressively red GT stripe along the rockers. And the whole premium appearance would not be complete without the optional iconic styled steel wheels. The two-tone interior just seems like the perfect color for an aggressive Mustang like this. Not only does it match the exterior package, but also it just makes the Mustang look like a volcano with red-hot lava at its core. So the investment here was a very good one. But more than just a terrific first impression, the interior has all the right features to make you happy. This includes desirable options like the premium "pony" package on the bucket seats w/comfortable headrests. In-between them is the wood paneling and bright trim running down the center console that coordinates with the paneling on the dash for a very nice overall thoughtful build. And more than just look great, this classic has all the right modern conveniences such as power locks, alarm system, and ice-cold air conditioning running modern R134a. The premium AM/FM stereo looks period-correct with its knob and chrome appearance, and it hides a more modern digital tuner with an auxiliary input for your most modern music players. But in a custom sports car like this, the best treats are reserved for the driver. In front of you is the GT-style round gauge package that also has the addition of the Rally Pac tach and clock mounted to the steering column. And have you counted the gears on the shifter yet? The fenders might say 289, but that's a bit of a fib - because it's actually powered by a larger 302 crate motor. The Monte Carlo bracer bar across the engine bay is your first indication that this is something special, but it is far from your last. This V8 has been fully built and fortified with go-fast goodies, including a roller cam and arms from Comp Cams, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, Quick Fuel 650CFM Hot Rod four-barrel carburetor, and plenty more upgrades (call for all the details.) The total package is rated at 500+hp, and the H-pipe dual exhaust lets the world know you've got a superior V8 with its throaty growl. But power is nothing without control. That why the upgraded Borg Warner T5 five-speed manual gives you complete command over the sound and fury from the enhanced power package. This feeds the Ford 9-inch limited-slip rear end that's running versatile 3.50 gears. The Total Control independent front suspension turns this classic Mustang into a real contender, and the adjustable coilover rear end makes sure the power is always planted to the ground. Plus, rack & pinion steering, four-wheel disc brakes, and the BF Goodrich tires are all the right upgrades to make this a great anytime high-horsepower classic. The same comes complete with a dyno sheet on this monster motor, as well as the owner's manual, build receipts, and a binder full of restoration photos - yes, this is truly a custom Mustang, and it has all the right paperwork to prove it. The only problem with a one-of-a-kind like this is you have to hurry if you want it to be yours.
