In 1966 this Ford Mustang convertible was supplied new in the States. Our car is a restored very good quality example. The fine bodywork has nice and thin, correctly aligned body panels. The paintwork is in very good condition with only a few signs of use. The chassis is rock solid and in great condition. We would like to draw your attention to the factory applied original front screen sun strip, a rarity! The hood is in a neat used condition with an overall good seal. The tonneau cover matches the interior perfectly and neatly closes it off. The tidy interior trim has lovely red carpets and light vinyl upholstery. The engine bay is very spruce. The engine has been re-sprayed in blue and has a post-market fitted Borgeson power steering unit (invoice included). The 289 cubic inches V8 engine draws breath through the gorgeous chrome Edelbrock air inlet and is coupled to a manual 4-speed gearbox. The spruce engine bay is not the only asset this engine has in store; the way in which this V8 does its stuff is just as impressive! It is smooth and amply powerful. The gearbox allows itself to be used with silky smoothness, free of any play. Naturally the car is fully rust-free. It is a true delight to hit the road with this ultimate American dream!
