What a special day it must have been when the first and only owner of this Ferrari 575 Maranello was able to pick up his new acquisition at Ferrari Munsterhuis in Hengelo. The car had been carefully put together months before and is timelessly beautiful. The outside is in “Grigio Titano” and the inside is in “Nero” with those fantastic Daytona chairs. Viewed objectively, the colour combination alone would be a reason to buy this car. The simple fact that this example is equipped with the extremely rare manual transmission only makes the car even more desirable. The car also got a Tubi exhaust to further enhance the sounds that the V12-engine produces. For Ferrari enthusiasts, the sound of a V12 with Tubi exhaust is food for the soul. The Ferrari 575M was a further development of the extremely successful Ferrari 550 and was slightly more refined on all points. For example, the 575 has larger brakes, a more powerful engine, improved aerodynamics and a nicer interior. The biggest difference with the 550, however, was that the Ferrari 575M could be ordered with an F1 transmission, the Ferrari salesperson sold it at the time: exactly like Schumacher drives, with flappy paddles on the steering wheel. The gearbox was lightning fast in putting in the gears but less fast in the operation of the clutch, so the driving experience was often quite jerky and difficult to dose. The first owner of this example noticed this during a test drive and he did what only 242 people would do: tick the box for the manual transmission.

The body of this example is in very good condition. The sheet metal is completely original. The fits are correct and the sheet metal is beautifully thin. The car is still in the first paint. That not only the paint is beautifully cared for. Here and there some very light signs of use are visible, but nothing that does not match the mileage and age of the car. The Ferrari is fitted with the original five-spoke alloy wheels fitted with new Michelin Pilot Supersports tires in the correct sizes. At the rear, the subtle Tubi-style exhaust stands out. The Tubi has slightly thicker end pieces than the standard car.

The inside of the Ferrari is also beautifully cared for. The carpets are of course original and in very good condition. The car can be seen to have spent most of its life in a heated garage. The leather on the seats is still wonderfully supple and well-maintained. The car is completely free of “sticky buttons” and has obviously always been cherished. The leather on the steering wheel is beautiful, the poker looks good and the headlining is also beautifully done. The dashboard is, of course, also fully covered with leather and is also in a well-maintained condition. The Ferrari 575M was a luxury Gran Tourer at the time, so you will of course lack nothing while driving this beautiful Italian Berlinetta. The Ferrari 575M has, among other things, an original Becker radio, Climate Control, sports button, ASR that can be switched off, electrically operated windows and electrically adjustable seats and a class 3 alarm.

But it doesn't matter how good the body looks, or how nice the interior feels. A Ferrari has only one goal: to drive! We can reassure you this Ferrari 575M certainly does not disappoint. In fact, it is a car that will exceed many expectations of what an almost 20-year-old Ferrari is capable of. The 5.7 litre F133 E/G is a true masterpiece. The intake is variable and has a very solid engine. The V12 produces 515 hp and is coupled to a wonderfully shifting manual transmission with 6 gears. The clutch is easy to operate and has a good engagement point. The steering feel in this Ferrari is so wonderfully analogous, modern offers from Maranello simply cannot match that. The engine is quite far back in the chassis and contributes to the fantastic balance in the car. Despite the fairly hefty car weight of 1,850 kilos, the Ferrari has a light-footed driving character and it is simply a pleasure to drive this car at full throttle on your favourite mountain road. The sound of that V12, the clicking of the lever when the next gear is inserted, everything adds up to one fantastic sum of Italian emotion and pure driving experience. The car has been maintained all her life at the Ferrari dealer and is therefore technically in top condition. Known as one of the most solid V12 engines Ferrari has ever built, the F133 can easily handle high mileage with proper maintenance. The Ferrari 575M is such a typical car that knows how to captivate its driver under any circumstance. Whether you drive with the traffic at 2,000 rpm or whether you drive at speed in the left lane in Germany, the car can do everything, does everything and convinces every kilometre.

The car will be delivered including a complete board folder with all booklets and a Ferrari branded Maglite flashlight and some invoices for the maintenance. In short, a beautiful and very rare Ferrari 575M with the much-loved manual transmission.
