Polaris Silver BMW 3.0 CSi

Over the years we have restored many 3.0 CS's CSi's and CSL's, all of them have found owners all over the world. The car is a Matching Numbers, Polaris Silver 3.0 CSi with German history and registration. BMW Classic Certificate has been ordered, the car was built in 1973 and first registered in January of 1974.

The upside; Bodywork and paintwork have already been finished - So no 2 year wait.
The car was completely stripped, bodywork was performed correctly and the car has been sanded to bare metal afterwards. The car has been painted in factory 060 Polaris Silver afterwards. It was done beautiful: very straight, a deep shine, perfect panelgaps and enginebay + trunk were repainted as well. The car is now curing in our storage. 

Assembly has been started with finishing planned for X-Mas of 2024.

Engine:
Matching Numbers, Rebuilt engine with all new bearings, chain, tensioner and seals.  All aluminium parts media-blasted for new factory look. Cleaned & Tested Injectors. New coolant hoses, waterpump, rebuilt alternator & startermotor, new thermostat. All ignition parts replaced. Engine correctly set-up and tuned. 

Transmission:
Factory 4-speed Gearbox - Rebuilt and media-blasted. New Clutch set, new seals. Rebuilt shifting mechanism, new shiftknob.
Would you like an upgrade to 5-Speed? That's doable.

Drivetrain:
Rebuilt Differential, rebuilt drive-shaft. 

Front & Rear Axle 
All metal parts powdercoated. Re-assembled with all new bushings, plated hardware, bearings etc. New Shocks, powdercoated springs. New steering-rods. Rebuilt steering-rack. Powdercoated sway-bars with new links. 

Brakes:
Front & Rear: Rebuilt and zinc-plated brake calipers w/ new Brake discs w/ Pads. New brakelines, hoses, brakefluid. Rebuilt mastercylinder.

Exterior:
All new Polaris paint,  New emblems, new mirrors, all new seals, chrome trim around the car. New bumper strips, new headlights, polished taillights, new blinkers and much more!

Interior:
Color: Open to your wish. We prefer Red. Black, Blue or Tan is possible too
Reupholstered leather interior, new set of carpets, new headliner, new doorpanels, new doorgaskets, reupholster center console.
Prefer to have A/C? We can do that.

Wheels / Tires:
Our trademark new 16" set of wheels, or probably the more classic original 14" wheels - Both is possible.
Ofcourse new centercaps, wheelnuts, emblems and new tires. Restored spare-wheel w/ new tire.

Assembly & finishing:
Body and paintwork have been done and the car is curing. Assembly will start in a couple of weeks. The BMW E9 holds no further secrets for us and we stock most parts. We'll make sure everything works: (electric) windows, locks, proper idle, cold-start, handling and braking.

The complete process will be documented with pictures and info. 

The finished car will be properly set-up, tuned, tried and tested. All teething problems solved.
