Fjord Blue 3.0 CSi

What an amazing find! A BMW 3.0 CSi in a beautiful condition plus a complete history dating back to new.

Do you remember? The 21st of September 1973 - It must have been a special day for Mr. Wilde, an insurance agent from Pöcking. Bavaria. BMW dealer 'Autohaus Kern' delivered his BMW 3.0 CSi in Fjord blue with VIN 2265784 and driving on numberplate STA-HW11. The original invoice is present. The car comes with thick binder containing a complete history. Original Tüv technical inspections & dealer invoices from Mr. Wilde's ownership - amazing. The original German registration from '73 is present as well showing Mr. Wilde sold the vehicle to Mr. Kraatz in 1988 wo kept it until 2003. Invoices from the selling dealer Autohaus Kern to Mr. Kraatz are present as well as Tüv technical inspections.

In 2003 Miss. Dreyer obtained this vehicle with 124.000 documented kilometers on the odometer. Invoices, repairs and Tüv rapports from here ownership up to 2017 are present as well. In 2017 the fourth owner bought this beautiful vehicle whom we recently bought it from. A completely documented 143.000 kilometers. Amazing.

A beautiful color combination for the E9 - Fjord Blue Metallic, tinted windows, marine blue leather and beautiful chrome.. Very classy and chique. Combined with slightly lowered suspension and sitting on 16" wheels - the perfect E9.
A nice and solid, straight body with perfect shutlines was given a beautiful repaint some years ago. One quality paintjob in it's factory shade of Fjord Blue. A deep shine on a straight body with the fold/knick correctly in the sides. The engine-bay is solid and correct. On and around the body it shows  chrome in great quality. The chrome-trim around the car presents nice as well as the trim around the windows. Nice and clear headlights in deep-black grilles, new emblems, countless new seals, very good quality chrome bumpers. The chrome grilles on the bonnet and fenders are brand new and really stand out on the new paint.

The engine-bay of the CSi looks very fresh and correct. The engine runs beautiful and thanks to D-Jetronic injection it's turn-key and makes 200 horsepowers. The engine received a major-service from us, it starts up nice and makes great power. Both the injection and the ignition system have been gone through. The power is sent to the rear wheels through the 4-speed manual transmission. The car is a joy to drive thanks slightly lowered suspension and Bilstein shocks. The body feels very tight, suspension is firm yet comfortable and the engine is very lively and powerful. Very easy to drive, both around town as well as at speed.

The interior is a nice combination of nice original and new leather. The seats and rear seat have been reupholstered beautifully in Marine blue leather. The front and rear doorpanels are original, so is the wood. It received a new set of carpets in Marine, in the correct loop-style material with a nice grain. The headliner is the original from 1973 and presents beautifully - still clean, crisp and white. A brand new Nardi steering wheel has been installed. The doorbrakes were replaced and the doorseals are new.

The trunk shows original vinyl and wood from 1973 that was nicely kept. The trunk boot floor is solid and original. Fresh spare wheel, tool and jack are present.

We have gone through this car from bumper to service making sure that every function works and the car drives as well as it looks. We've replaced countless seals and hoses and have serviced it completely.
