Descripción

Bentley was taken over by Rolls-Royce during the early 1930s after having suffered tremendously from the world economic crisis. Within a rather short period, Rolls-Royce launched the Bentley 3 1/2 Litre, a motor car developed and produced at their Derby factory.

Only 1.178 examples of the 3 1/2L Bentley Derby were built between 1933 and 1935. The fantastic and richly documented example we are proud to offer for sale was new delivered in January 1936 with a “Park Ward” 2-doors body. The history file learns us the car was first owned by Captain Eric Williams Paterson. The car has a FIVA pass and lovely rallying history. It’s been owned by a caring Belgian owner for some decades.

The body has been completely restored and repainted to the highest standards. The chrome work was restored too just like the interior and soft top. The light green floor carpets are still the original ones.

This unique classic is a matching engine, gearbox, body and chassis making it very rare and a complete original pre-war collector’s item.
