“I’m sorry, but having an Aston Martin DB7 GTA on the driveway and not driving it is a bit like having Keira Knightley in your bed and sleeping on the couch. – Jeremy Clarkson

The previous owner of our DB7 GTA thought somewhat differently about that. And secretly, secretly we are very grateful to him for preserving the total (virgin) original new condition. Only 112 DB7 GTAs have ever (!) been built, so in all likelihood this is the best-preserved example. Because say it; 3,800 kilometres, all original paintwork, delivered in France at the time; Still not completely broken in. It doesn't get much better than that!

Where many brands struggle enormously to give their badge prestige, with Aston Martin this is no problem at all. Everyone knows what it stands for, not to mention that it was helped by British secret agent James Bond. Aston Martin is synonymous with charismatic, stylish and fast gentleman Gran Turismo's. Not a race car, but definitely more sporty and agile than its British brother Bentley.

Because Aston Martin was quite small and liked to invest money where it mattered; handling, engine and experience, a lot of borrowed parts from good car brands were used to get the car finished 'within budget'. And let's face it; if we don't say anything, it doesn't show! Also, this little fact makes maintenance a bit cheaper; Everything is plenty still available!

The DB7 has been a hugely important model for Aston Martin. Thanks to Ian Callum's design, after the DB7, The Vanquish, DB9 and V8 Vantage were tapped from the same 'Design keg'. And we know it for sure; our DB7 is composed exactly as it was meant to be. In British Racing Green with a gorgeous beige/green leather interior and dark oak. With that, the 5.9-litre V12 and buttery-smooth automatic transmission is the icing on the cake. The ultimate Gentleman Sportscar, for sale with us! Will we see you soon?
