Offered for sale is an Alvis 12/60 T.L. Beetleback from 1931. 177 cars of this model were produced between 1931 and 1933 in Coventry, England. This Alvis is a "Twin Carburetor Sports" model with a body by Carbodies (Body No. 3965).

On 29.10.1931 this Alvis was delivered to the Alvis agent Caffyns of Eastbourne. It was supplied with the following special features: Dual carburetor system, rev counter, and spoke wheels with centre lock.

Starting with the original delivery document, an almost complete history is known.

This Alvis offered here is in technically very good condition and is ready for immediate use. The 4-cylinder 1.6 litre engine is connected to a four-speed manual gearbox with a right-hand gear lever. The authentic body is the original body from 1931 and the vehicle has an authentic patina.

In 2016, this Alvis was acquired by the current owner and imported into the Netherlands. A Dutch road registration is available. Constant improvements and maintenance have been carried out by the owner and it has also been used at classic car events in the Netherlands.
