11979 Mercedes-Benz 450 SLC R107 – 3 former keepers – AMG Wheels – Previous Engine and Bodywork Restoration

Lovely Mercedes-Benz 450 SLC with just 3 former keepers, very cool styling and undergone previous restorative works.

Finished beautifully in the car’s factory paint code - Anthracite Grey Metallic (172).

Riding on a set of AMG Pentas wheels and fitted with a very rare set of Recaro seats coming from a SEC Widebody of mid-late 80s. The headrests have integrated Blaupunkt speakers and they are super comfortable. With the addition of the AMG steering wheel it all makes for an fantastic feel and drive.

Between 2010-2011, it underwent substantial restorative and engine works at Buryas Bridge Garage, who are a classic car restorer in Cornwall and were local to the last owner of 14 years. It had a full repaint whilst there and the wheel arches, inner and outer sills were all restored.

Mechanically – the heads were stripped and rebuilt, timing chain replaced, new gaskets and rubbers, replacement oil cooler, new trans fluid filter, engine flush, vacuum overhaul, new pipes, lead distributor cap, new injectors.

It has since covered a very healthy 10,000 miles, with the owner ensuring regular MOTs and required maintenance has been carried out.

We are pleased to offer this SLC having been inspected, a fresh oil service carried out and with an MOT.

Now registered as an historic vehicle with the DVLA meaning it is now exempt from UK road tax and MOT tests.
