The current owner of this Lotus bought it with his friend in June 2022 - they bought cars together as a hobby. He confirms that the car was one of six built in this colour for the Renault race team and there is a letter in the file from Lotus confirming the car was factory finished in Renault Mid Metallic. Sadly the owners friend passed away after the pair had managed a few pub trips and had some fun with the car, and it hasnt been used since January 2023 as a result. The seller says its an easy fit for tall drivers as his friend was six foot five. When they bought the car it was an unfinished project, so they completed the work and it passed an MoT with no advisories (although it is, of course, exempt from needing a test certificate).
