It seems that not all Pandas are born equal.

Some are destined to live the life of an urban bumper car, scuffed and bruised by endless encounters with other Pandas down narrow Neapolitan side-streets as their owners park them in the Italian style - ‘by ear’.

Others, particularly the 4X4 iterations, might be lucky enough to enjoy a more refined life for a few months of the year in the Dolomites or Tyrol.

This one, however, was clearly born to a life of luxury and indulgence.

No wonder it lived in Monaco.

It was almost certainly on first-name terms with a superyacht or two, and probably some of those small yappy dogs that orange-hued women like to carry around in Hermès tote bags.

We’ve not seen another Panda quite like this one, and there’s every chance we never will.
