A refurbished charger at GT VINTAGE!

We have brought our personal touch to present you a unique and exceptional vehicle!

Historical

The Dodge Charger is a car from the American brand Dodge. Rival of the Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro, Plymouth Road Runner and other muscle cars, it is now considered a classic automobile and a benchmark in terms of performance. The '69 Dodge Charger is an update of the '68 model on the same wheelbase base and some tweaks like a center splitter in the grille and a new rear fascia with horizontal lights. The model had a very strong sporting career with the DAYTONA 500 version winning more than 18 NASCAR races, with aerodynamic modifications such as the plunging nose and a tail with a rear spoiler. The Super Bird of Plymouth will come to support the Charger for the Chrysler group in 1970 to compete with the FORD, which was the brand to beat in NASCAR. Today, these are legendary cars that have a huge place in an American collection.

Description

This Dodge Charger comes from our workshops with the aim of offering a unique vehicle, personalized to our taste and which is classy, enduring and above all atypical!

Here is our CHARGER GT VINTAGE finish in a modern color livery, a NARDO gray with CRAGGAR rims, white lettered tires, new black interior and all chrome as original. The car has undergone a careful restoration, starting from a model imported from the USA in 2014 and which occupied the workshop for a personalized project without time pressure.

MECHANICAL

The engine is a refurbished 440 ci, 7L2 V8 that develops nearly 400 HP. A complete photo report of the restoration is available to the future buyer. The automatic gearbox has also been redone down to the smallest detail to ensure smooth reliability of the powertrain. The engine is still in break-in to this day. The mechanical parts specific to this engine are exclusively imported from the US and the cost is accordingly.

SUSPENSION

Everything has been redone at the level of the front axle with change of all the suspensions, the front axles complete with passage to parallelism and balancing. Ditto for the rear with change of the leaf springs, verification of the rear axle, repair of all the braking, new rims and new tires.

BODY

The car was completely dismantled, sanded bare, repair of the floors, of the rear part with replacement of the longitudinal members, repair of the trunk floors, realignment of the openings, flatness of the front and rear wings, the doors, white assembly. Then disassembly of the openings for complete painting after the installation of a primer and we selected a Nardo gray to make the car more imposing, more racy and above all much more elegant at first glance; the choice of colors of the time is no longer up to date apart from light gray and black, we wanted to make it unique.

INTERIOR

The upholstery is new as well as the carpets, the door panels, the dashboard has been dismantled in its entirety to check the connections, clean it and do what is necessary to align it perfectly with the central console which has been thoroughly cleaned. and repair, console not found. The door panels are new.

Our opinion

Buying a Charger, importing it from the US, a real headache with the added risk of receiving a vehicle in poor condition, which absolutely does not correspond to the description given to you.... And so in the end a restoration to be planned which is a financial pitfall if the mechanics and the bodywork have to be redone, we know knowingly.... restore an exclusive American vehicle, little known on our territory, taking care to preserve its authenticity, which has not been tampered with, is a real challenge!!

GT VINTAGE makes your job easier, it's there, available and what's more, we guarantee it! More exclusive than a big AC COBRA, if you like exclusivity, you have the tool: our 1969 DODGE CHARGER personalized to perfection!
