Well, obviously, it’s an American-LaFrance Standard 75 Pumping Car.

Delivered new in 1919 to the Huron Fire Department, this magnificent machine is an absolute triumph of Edwardian era engineering and is in astonishingly original condition.

When you consider that this engineering colossus left the factory a year after the cessation of hostilities in WWI, the fact that it’s still in working order is a true testament both to the skills of the people who built it, and to the expert curatorial care lavished upon it by subsequent owners.

Frankly, we love everything about it.
