Car-iconics is delighted to offer for sale this beautiful Mercedes Benz W124 300CE presented with just 56,059 miles and finished in a stunning Blue Black Metallic paintwork (Code 199) over an optional Grey Leather interior (Code 268). Our example was supplied new in September of 1990 by Dick Lovett Swindon and both the exterior and interior have hardly aged a day since then. The W124 is instantly recognisable as one of the marque’s finest modern classics and the exterior lines of the car, alongside the vintage feel of the interior have aged beautifully.

The cabin boasts an original interior with fine grey leather, which has been frequently treated with feed and remains spotless, alongside burr walnut root cappings. The colours on the instrument cluster remain vivid thanks to being garaged stored and original touches such as the Panasonic Alphatuner Stereo, and service stickers in the driver’s door shut further validate the originality of this car. The quality of this interior is truly outstanding.

The body panels on our example present exceptionally well with no signs of previous damage and all trim pieces appear as new. The optional Blue Black Metallic paintwork remains glossy and shows minor stone chips however this does not distract from the overall outstanding condition of the car. The 15 hole alloy wheels look phenomenal and show only light scratches to the outer rims. The immaculate boot area also houses the original Pirelli spare tyre alongside the original toolkit, jack and warning triangle.

Mr Andrew Melsom Purchased this vehicle new from Dick Lovett Swindon on the 13th September 1990 and when the car was one year old it was sold to Mr and Mrs Frangi who paid £28,900. Ownership was then passed onto Mrs Sylvia Frangi in 2015.

This example also benefits from a fantastic service history with the most recent being completed on the 23rd June 2021 and the car has covered very few miles since.
