The 2019 Mercedes-AMG GT R Pro is a limited-edition, track-focused evolution of the GT R, blending motorsport engineering with road-legal usability. Powered by a 577bhp 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8, it accelerates from 0-62mph in 3.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 198mph. While the engine output remains unchanged, the Pro features significant chassis upgrades, including adjustable coil-over suspension, carbon-fibre anti-roll bars, and dynamic engine mounts, enhancing its track performance. Aerodynamic improvements and weight reductions contribute to its agility, enabling a Nürburgring lap time of 7:04.6, six seconds faster than the standard GT R. Priced at £188,345, only 750 units were produced globally, with approximately 80 allocated to the UK.
