The Ferrari 512 TR debuted at the Los Angeles Auto Show in 1992 as the evolution of the first Testarossa.Ferrari went back using the abbreviations for the name, where the number stood for the 5-litre displacement and the 12 cylinders, while the letters TR are simply the initials of Testarossa, a nice tribute to the mythical "mama" that still today has quite an effect on enthusiasts.
