'86 745i Excutive - Turbo-powered 7-series

This BMW 745i was produced in late 1985 in Bavaria and delivered to BMW Italia accordingly. Someone has ordered the absolute flagship BMW of the time. There was no faster, more luxurious or more expensive BMW on the market. 7-series, 745i, Executive model with Buffalo leather and A/C. Ordered in timeless 060 Polaris Silver metallic over a grey Buffalo leather interior. 

For the E23 7-Series there were 2 exclusive option packs: The Highline and the Executive. The Executive was a full-option model with perforated Buffalo leather, 4 electric windows, Walnut-wood. Also the doorpanels and center console were upholstered in leather. The seats are electrically adjustable. It also has the On-Board-Computer (OBC). Furthermore it features the 4-speed automatic with 3 driving modes and the Executive-correct Becker Mexico radio.

The car led its life in sunny Italy where we have recently imported it from. Last owned by Mr. Fioravanti from Foliganano from the province of Perugia, Italy. What we've found is a very original, survivor 745i Executive. That means: Not restored, an original body. Rust-free and never been welded on. The body is very straight and shows no signs of repairs. It has it's original front fenders, original doors and panels. The outside of the car has been repainted years ago and this was carried out very well. The engine-bay, trunk and insides of the doors are in their factory Polaris paint. 

The engine-bay shows very original. Original stickers and coatings. The same goes for the trunk with a complete set of tools and original mats. The car does not show any rust and the undercarriage is exceptionally clean and solid. It doesnt show any trace of welding done. Beautiful original sills, jack-points and all original floors. The wheel housings in body color and the floors in primer, as it should be. 

The interior is beautiful. Great 80's design with a driver-focused layout - very typical for 80's BMW's. An amazing time-capsule! It's all original and unrestored. A nice crack-free dashboard, perfect headliner and original carpets. Beautiful original buffalo leather: nice and supple. The seats are electrically adjustable, everything on the car works. The Becker radio plays FM nicely and the A/C has been converted to the new gas. Nice wood, nice carpetting and correct floormats.

The car drives lovely! The torque and smoothness of 252 turbocharged-horsepowers still amazes in 2022. Very tall gears and a smooth shifting automatic gearbox. Precise steering and lovely suspension and roadholding. We have performed a big service to make this car work as it should. In short the following has been done:
