The BMW E30 is the second generation of BMW 3 Series, which was produced from 1982 to 1994 and replaced the E21. The range included two-door coupé and convertible body styles, as well as being the first 3 Series to be produced in four-door sedan and wagon/estate body styles. It was powered by four-cylinder petrol, six-cylinder petrol and six-cylinder diesel engines, the latter a first for the 3 Series. The E30 325iX model was the first BMW to have all-wheel drive. The first BMW M3 model was built on the E30 platform and the BMW Z1 roadster was also based on the E30 platform.

First registered on 23rd April 1993 and supplied by Coombs BMW, Guildford to a Mrs Barbara Rowe and presented in Sterling Silver with contrasting Indigo leather and blue electric hood. This fabulous example was specified with optional Lux pack, De-Chrome pack, factory fitted alarm, rear spoiler and electric arial coupled to the cherished plate K2 BPR that it still wears today bringing the original purchase price to £19,208 as found in the original purchases and sales invoices. Coombs cared for the car throughout the 90’s before they became Vines BMW. In 2001 the speedo head became faulty and has been changed and then documented by Thomas Day Renault who subsequently took the car in part exchange and sold it in 2006, reviewing this and the wealth of MoT’s show the current mileage to be accurate at 43,000 from new. The subsequent owner had the car serviced by Murphy & Gunn BMW. More recently the car was sold by 4 Star Classics to an owner in Cornwall who admittedly didn’t drive it as much as he would have liked, it remained predominantly garaged until this summer when it was fully serviced, wheels refurbished and driven from Cornwall to Windsor for the sale without skipping a beat. It’s wonderfully original, even boasting the original BMW torch in fact if it were mine I would install a ‘yuppy’ retro mobile phone to finish the look!

Offered with a full book pack, history file with original order invoices and service history coupled to many MoT’s including the most recent without advisories and valid until April 2025. A fantastic 43,000 miles low owner 318i Lux perfect for summer motoring in the iconic E30 which provides the benefit of space for four and a sensible boot together with solid classic status as values rise.
