Description

The cult camper

Once again, a beautiful, freshly overhauled VW T2a Westfalia camper found its way to us:

The Bulli was first registered in the USA in 1969. It probably spent its active time in the USA in the "Dry States" - a circumstance to which it owes its extraordinarily good body structure. At the end of 2015, it finally came back to Europe, where it was extensively technically overhauled by a lover of air-cooled Volkswagens in the years that followed. The Bulli was obviously always treated carefully and well looked after by its owners. After more than 50 years, the completely original and very clean camper equipment is exceptionally well preserved and is functionally equipped with lots of storage space, a kitchen cupboard with sink, running water and a cool box. The camper offers two comfortable sleeping places for adults on the fold-down bench seat and two additional children's beds - one in the large pop-up roof and one in front above the seats.

The interior is "Westfalia Campmobile 70", as was the case with almost all Westfalia Bullis built up to 1973. All parts of the interior - floor coverings, covers, furniture parts and door panels - are well-maintained and clean.

The T2 camper is equipped with the extremely tried and tested boxer engine with 1.6 l displacement.

It runs powerfully and it is easy for the Bulli to accelerate properly and to keep up with today's traffic effortlessly.

It starts immediately at any time and responds willingly to the accelerator. The previous owner told us that he had the engine and steering gear overhauled after the Bulli arrived from the USA.

This is how the Bulli runs and drives.

With its recently overhauled brakes, the camper is fast and safe on the road. Not to mention the fun factor.

The Bulli rolls on its original rim/tire combination. The rims have been sandblasted and repainted - as have the front and rear bumpers.

The vehicle underbody is in its original condition, unwelded, cleaned and sealed.

The body is completely original and impresses with perfect gaps and surfaces as well as rust-free sheet metal joints.

We hand over the camper immediately ready to go with a fresh general inspection, an H report and a valuation report for your insurance.

The bus is available for viewing and test driving in the classic car gallery in Alzenau by arrangement. It is also worth driving further, the bus is really worth seeing.

Please call beforehand to arrange an appointment.

We would be happy to make a good offer for transport to your home.
