Authentically and historically prepared rally car from the 1950s!

This beautiful "Oval Window" model with a large folding sunroof has been professionally modified for participation in historic rally events – enhanced for speed following the recipes of the legendary and oldest Beetle tuner, Gerhard Oettinger, who gave such vehicles the name "Okrasa TS" due to the upgrades applied here.

Not only was the engine upgraded for higher performance, but the suspension was also significantly improved with a slight lowering, negative camber, widened rear track, the installation of a front stabilizer, and the use of Porsche 356 wheels with 165-15" radial tires.

The upgrades are rounded off with the iconic, period-correct "Banjo" spoked sports steering wheel and a tachometer.

The vehicle has a Volkswagen certificate – exterior and interior colors are matching numbers.

With this well-prepared "sports Beetle" from 1956, you can participate in various prestigious rally events, including the legendary "Mille Miglia," as the car was registered before 1957 and this model participated in the event back in the day.

Specifications:
4-cylinder boxer engine, 1,192 cc, output approx. 44 hp (stock: 30 hp), achieved through special Oettinger-developed two-port cylinder heads for improved airflow and higher compression, combined with a Solex dual carburetor system, sports air filters, and exhaust pipes with larger diameters.
4-speed gearbox (partially synchronized), 4-wheel drum brakes, hydraulically operated. Curb weight: only 740 kg.
