Description

1934 Rolls Royce 20/25 Gurney Nutting Sedanca
Chassis Number: GFE1
Registration Number: 64843 Tennessee
From a prominent American collection: This car has been maintained without regard to cost & has been in long term ownership in a prominent USA based collection. The collection comprises predominately pre war British cars all in impeccable condition. Prio to the current onwership the car belonged to Noted Rolls Royce concours judge Dr. Michael Jacobelli; a high recommendation in itself.
The paint is fresh having been recently done in flawless cream over Prussian blue. The Interior has also been retrimmed to the rear in a heavy patterned brocade type fabric making it an opulent place to be. Twin occasional seats fold out of the bulkhead making this a true 7 seat car. All interior woodwork has also beend removed & refinished.
Mechanically the car is excellent with a strong engine with a go anywhere fell to it. It starts readily & drives beautifully. The one shot system is in good working order & the car is pleasingly original under the bonnet right down to the correct Bakelite mushroom style coil holder.
Being a sedanca the front roof area opens allowing for alfresco motoring on sunny days. The car wears supremely elegant & desirable Gurney Nutting coach work as fitted to the car when it was new, the first owner being one Mr J Sainsbury of 149 Park Lane, Mayfair.
This is an imposing car with twin side mount spare wheels, twin trumpet horns & a centre mounted spot lamp. A very art decco style chrome strip runs all the way along the car & round the back or it.
This is a car that wants for nothing & we early await its arrival wth us.
