Description

It is Sunday morning just before sunrise. All the kids are still fast asleep, but you’re already up and excited next to your bed. You promised to get croissants for the Sunday ritual, but secretly everyone in the family knows that you’re not up so early just for those four croissants. For a few weeks now, you have fulfilled a dream: you’ve bought a sixties Porsche 911T. You stand in front of your shiny car and smile broadly at it. It’s high time to do what the 911T was really made for: touring. Two hours of driving there, a quarter of an hour at the bakery, forgetting the croissants, and coming back with some fresh orange juice.

This 911T is not just any car; it has undergone an extensive restoration over six years, with approximately 2500 hours of labor invested. In May 2022, the masterpiece was finally completed, and now the car is in nearly new condition. Every part has been carefully revised or repaired, using original parts from Carmax, a supplier that provided Porsche with nuts, discs, and bolts during production. The goal of the restoration was to replicate the original factory standard, and it succeeded. The engine was built by SSP Knut Grave, and the car has matching numbers, the original Hellelfenbein color, an original Becker radio, leather straps for luggage and rear seats, basket weave door panels, and original tools with various manuals.

So, while you’re on your way again to a bakery four villages away to make sure you do come home with croissants, you enjoy the perfection and craftsmanship of your 911T. Every kilometer feels like a tribute to the years of love and care that have been put into this car. That makes your Sunday morning drive not only a pleasure but a celebration of a dream come true.
