The first AMG E-Class sold by Mercedes after it acquired AMG. This is an example from after the Facelift. Sold new in the year 2000 in Japan and fitted with (near) all options. 

744 Brilliant Silver over 521 Leather Condor Anthracite. With heated, cooled and memory seats. A heated rear seat and a glass sunroof. 

Perhaps the most bullet-proof and easy to work on AMG. The mighty and faultless M113 V8, mated to the 5-Speed transmission that knows no faults. A normal braking system and normal springs and dampers. No airsuspension, ABS or SBC to go wrong on this one.

Bought by us and driven roughly 10.000 kilometers ourselves - it proved to be perfectly reliable and a great companion. A beautiful rust-free E55 AMG in original condition. 

The car looks great and drives like it should. The interior appears in a great original condition and is joy to sit and drive in.
