The W124 is now considered a design icon among Mercedes connoisseurs. Clearly drawn, elegant, without gags and unnecessary decorations..., ... simply timeless. In March 1987, Mercedes Benz expanded the 124 series to include a coupé variant, which completed the range as the third body variant. The floor pan of the 4-door model was shortened by 8.5 cm, which underlined the sporty character of the two-door model.

Our coupé was first registered in August 1988 and the odometer shows just over 172,000 kilometers after a total of 36 years of careful use.

The coupe is almost free of scratches or dents and impresses with its deep glossy paint finish all around. The bumpers and side panels ("Sacco boards") are also flawless and complete the extraordinary appearance of the car.

This picture continues in the interior. It is in a very well-preserved original condition. The multi-contour seats, which are subject to an additional charge, are tight and extremely comfortable. To maintain the good condition, the front seats were fitted with perfectly fitting fur covers. Door and side panels, carpets, dashboard and wood applications -- wherever you look, everything is clean, well-maintained and unworn. All electric windows, as well as the electric sliding/tilting roof, work perfectly, as does the air conditioning.

The driving experience in this 230 CE is impressively quiet and smooth -- a dream to glide confidently and comfortably over roads of any category in this car. The powerful 2.3 liter petrol engine and the 4-speed automatic transmission are a perfect match for this car. We hand over the coupe ready to go with a fresh general inspection.
