Description:
Series production of the T-model (W 123) began at the Mercedes plant in Bremen in April 1978. The rear end, with its high-end edge, made the new model a real space miracle. A hydropneumatic levelling system on the rear axle, fitted as standard, ensured a high level of ride comfort regardless of the weight of the payload, which in the case of the T-Model weighing around 1500 kilograms was up to 45 percent of the unladen weight.
The 230 TE offered here was sold a few years ago via the Mercedes Benz Classic Centre in Stuttgart to a high-ranking customer and collector of untouched original vehicles. Due to the total mileage of only 51,994 kilometres and its almost untouched original condition, this is a unique opportunity. On-board papers and various documents are available.
