At the buyer's request, this WORKS V8 was painted in the unique special color Balmoral Green and the interior was designed in Bottle Green at an additional cost of GBP 21,000. No other WORKS V8 has this color combination ex works, making this example even more desirable.

The result is an automotive masterpiece.

To mark the 70th anniversary of LAND ROVER, the WORKS V8 project was developed in 2017 and launched in 2018. Based on the last built and registered LAND ROVER DEFENDER, CLASSIC WORKS UK has carefully dismantled each of the 150 limited edition vehicles worldwide and implanted a 5.0 ltr. V8 petrol engine with 403 hp from the current RANGE ROVER in combination with the 8-speed automatic transmission from ZF.

The brakes, the chassis and the 18-inch LM wheels in Saw Tooth design are adapted to the performance and the equipment includes air conditioning, ABS with ETC, central locking, electric windows, heated front seats and aluminum door handles.

The bodywork could be ordered in one of 5 selectable colors with a black contrasting roof and the interior was transformed into a very high-quality leather landscape with additional Recaro sports seats and the Jaguar Land Rover Classic audio system with Bluetooth and navigation was installed.

The limited number of 150 vehicles was sold out within a very short time after the announcement. Each of the left-hand drive WORKS V8s sold for the European continent passed through our hands as a subsidiary of JLR UK and was checked again, test-driven and equipped with new German vehicle documents and a daily registration after a full inspection.
