Description
The star of the 1948 London Motor Show was the Jaguar XK 120, which had a sensational body and a top speed of 120 mph (193 km/h). At the time, it was the fastest production car in the world! The further development XK 140 was refined in many details and had an increased output of 140 kW/190 hp. There was again the coupé, the roadster and the convertible (Drophead Coupé).
Our Jaguar XK 140 DHC has the marvellous wooden dashboard. Delivered in the USA, it was purchased there by a lady who also lives in Germany. This is how the classic car came to northern Germany. Here it was restored in many details and also received an engine overhaul in 2013. The XK 140 Drophead Coupé with its crank windows and lined soft top is truly weatherproof.
EXTRAS: 5-speed gearbox: additional headlights; wheel cover; wooden steering wheel
