This Ford Mustang is one of the first 'facelift' series after the first generation in which it was transformed from a pony car into a more powerful and stable car, longer and wider in size. Accessories such as brake discs, racing wheels, power steering and power brakes. The paint and also all the chrome on the Mustang is in very good condition. The very well looked after engine runs very well and the transmission shifts correctly. The carpet, roof, trunk, rear louvre louvre, dashboard and door panels are in good to very good condition.

For sale, for health reasons, Ford Mustang Sportsroof 1972 (V8 Cleveland 351 engine), Grabber Yellow color in excellent condition, considering that in July it will be 50 years old since its first registration. I am very fond of it and I am sorry to see it suffer in the garage due to little use due to my serious health problems. Since it was completely renovated, she has only traveled a few hundred km.

Purchased in Germany from the renowned and very reliable dealer RD Classic of Emmerich am Rhein from Nebraska, and with only two owners, as attested by the preserved original booklet. One of the last produced in February 1972 with a Cleveland 351 engine, then registered in July of that year. Ford production, from May 1972 onwards, replaced the 351 with the smaller Boss 302. The European displacement is 5800 cc. German TüV successfully passed and documented. Restoration by American Garage di Giuseppe Bori, in Carmagnola (TO), one of the most referenced workshops in Italy.

At the time of purchase it was set to run on the quarter mile, with the rear axle much higher than the front axle. Everything was restored by me to the original setting, including the complete replacement of the slightly worn gearbox with its new original Ford gearbox, shipped from the USA. Brakes as per default installed, new front disc brakes with original Ford spare parts and perfectly serviced rear drum brakes. Quattro disc at the time was an optional extra on request. Now it has returned to being a perfect road bike. The maximum tires required by Italian law are mounted, and compliant with American production tables. Between purchase, shipping and rearrangement and replacements with new originals, a budget of approximately €45,000 was reached

For the connoisseurs, we remind you that this car, a 1971-73 hybrid inversion, of this same color is the original "Eleonor" Mustang used in the 1974 film "Gone in 60 seconds", which contains the longest car chase scene of all times lasting approximately 45 minutes. What remains of the car used in the filming is now on display at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles.

The car is in Italy and immediately available and visible in the province of Trento. The request is realistic and expresses current prices. I leave the contact for any non-time wasters,The price is essentially inflexible, as it is not expected to engage in exhausting haggling. Obviously realistic counter-offers within the request range are heard. Thank you.
