Description

The 1993 Dodge Viper is a significant model in the history of American sports cars. The Viper was Dodge's bold attempt to create a raw, powerful, and aggressive sports car that could compete with the best in the world. Here’s a detailed look at the 1993 Dodge Viper:

1993 was the second model year of the Dodge Viper, which was initially introduced in 1992. The Viper was developed as a modern-day interpretation of the classic American muscle car, heavily influenced by the Shelby Cobra.

The car was developed by Chrysler’s “Team Viper,” which included famous automotive designer Tom Gale and the legendary Carroll Shelby, who played a role in inspiring the Viper’s performance ethos.

She features an unmistakable design with a long hood, side exhaust pipes, and a short rear deck. Its low-slung, wide stance gives it an intimidating presence on the road.

Interiorwize the Viper is extremely minimalist, emphasizing performance over comfort. Of course to keep the car lightweight and focused purely on driving performance.

She is a roadster, meaning it came with a removable soft top that could be stowed away, turning the car into an open-air performance machine.

At the heart of the 1993 Viper is a massive 8.0-liter V10 engine, which is based on Chrysler’s truck engine but heavily modified by Lamborghini (which was then owned by Chrysler). The engine produces 400 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque, delivering a brutal performance.

The power is delivered to the rear wheels through a 6-speed Borg-Warner T-56 manual transmission.

The Viper is known for its raw, untamed driving experience. It has no electronic aids like traction control or ABS.

Our example is one the most original ones you will be lucky enough to run across. With only one owner since new she has been maintained at only 2 garages and the full history of invoices and a clean carfax show us this. She was imported to Germany in the beginning of 2024.

With her original paint, extremely clean interior and only 19.000 miles she is a true collectors item.

Don’t miss your chance to own such a great example of a very iconic car. Get in touch for more information and a test drive. We also offer white glove delivery to the United States through Car Cave USA, based in Aiken, South Carolina.
