This lovely 1964 Chevrolet Corvette C2 Stingray Convertible has been fully restored. The car has a bronze coloured finish on the outside and white leather with bronze coloured carpets interior trim. The white door cards also stand out against the bronze. This car’s condition is in one word brilliant! The pristine paintwork has been expertly applied. The fibreglass bodywork is in excellent shape and naturally has all its panelwork correctly aligned. The rust-free chassis is as good as the top. Photos of the restoration show how the complete exhaust system was replaced. The pop-up headlights work perfectly and are correctly adjusted. The white leather interior and white convertible hood form a pretty picture together. The easy to operate hood has a tight fit. Taking down the tonneau reveals just how beautifully this Corvette has been sprayed. The not immediately obvious areas confirm the professional attention to detail. This Corvette Stingray Convertible is for all intense and purposes a thing of beauty. Driving this Corvette does not disappoint either. The car has a 327Ci (5.35 litre) V8 developing 300 Ps coupled to a manual 4-speed gearbox. The divine supple engine has straight from stationary up loads of torque. The big V8 sound tickles the eardrum adding pure joy to the splendid drive. It matters not whether you drive it like a sports car or cruise along in relaxed fashion, this kind of engine always delivers an atmosphere enhancing experience. Unfortunately the restoration rapport has gone missing, but there is no denying this is a beautifully restored car.
